Young d’Artagnan arrives in Paris dreaming of adventure and soon joins forces with the legendary Musketeers Athos, Porthos, and Aramis. Together, they must outwit the scheming Cardinal Richelieu and dangerous Milady de Winter in a thrilling tale of friendship, honour, and daring heroics.

This cast was initially populated by a who’s who of Canadian theatre legends, but due to scheduling conflicts and creative differences, this 18th century epic with over twenty characters will be performed by two of Canada’s most enthusiastic and available performers. Brontë: The World Without offers a glimpse into the lives of the three famous sisters, ​presenting an intimate look at their relationships, their artistic struggles, the pressure of family responsibilities, and the sisterhood that helped them achieve greatness. The play illuminates how their experiences echo those of the heroines who live on in their beloved and unforgettable novels such as Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights.

Theatre in Transit is an immersive performance on wheels that picks up Guild Festival Theatre patrons at local transit hubs and takes them to Guild Park & Gardens. On the way, the bus becomes a stage with performances inspired by Brontë: The World Without and Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey. Shuttles run return trips on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from July 17 to August 23.

How it Works

Once you select your performance date, book a seat on the Theatre in Transit shuttle - make sure they’re for the same date! In the event that you are not booked for that day’s mainstage performance, your Theatre in Transit ticket will be cancelled to allow other patrons to make use of that slot.

The week of your visit, you'll get an email with pickup location, bus details, and everything else you need to turn the commute into a performance.
